Although the equipment has changed and the people are different, much remains the same from the 1954 film that describes the Missouri Division of Koss Construction Company. The project depicted was near Festus, Missouri. Completed in 1954, the road was 24' wide and almost eight miles long. Today the concrete is mixed in Central Mix Plants and placed using Slipform Pavers, but the planning, organization and pride are much the same as you see here.
