The project consisted of grading,bridge & surfacing on K-7. The improvement began at the K-7/US-160 junction in Columbus, KS north to the Cherokee/Crawford county line. Abandoned coal mines were within the right of way on this project and were stabilized with portland cement grout. Total length of the project was 11.014 miles.
US-59, Adair Co., OK (Koss #995)
Grade, Drain, Surface and Bridge from 2.0 miles north of US-62, extending north 4.949 miles. An additional two lanes were added to the highway to accommodate increased traffic.
Hwy 3, Atoka County, Oklahoma (Koss #970)
The project consisted of grading, drainage, bridge & surfacing on SH-3. The improvement began approximately two miles East of Atoka and extended East 4.1 miles to near the town of Lane, Oklahoma adding two additional lanes.
Interstate 40, Prairie Co., AR (Koss #958)
Koss removed and reconsructed I-40 from the Hazen exit east to the Cache River Bridge. This work consisted of over 400,000 tons of asphalt materials.
Hwy 3, Atoka County, Oklahoma (Koss #831)
Completed in the Summer of 2009, this project is located in Southern Atoka County, Oklahoma.
The project consisted of grading, drainage, bridge & surfacing on SH-3. The improvement began approximately two miles East of Atoka and extended East 2.609 miles to near the town of Lane, Oklahoma.
US Highway 59, south of Sailboat Bridge over The Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees, was once a narrow, stop and go roadway leading through “Green Country” and into Grove, OK, a very popular and well-renowned resort community in the northeastern corner of the Sooner state.
Commencing in June of 2009 and completed in November of 2010, this ARRA funded stimulus project, composed of a 4.9 mile base project and an awarded 1.9 mile add-alternate option, is located in northern Kay County, Oklahoma, five miles south of the Kansas state line.
Completed in the Spring of 2011, this project is located in Greer County, Oklahoma approximately one mile North of Granite, OK. The project consisted of some light grading, stabilization with Cement Kiln Dust (CKD) & asphalt surfacing on SH-6 to add a new Southbound lane and crossovers.
